Growing up in a small town and fighting cancer in her early teens taught her that life is short and dreams should be pursued. She lives vicariously through her independent, and often hellion characters, exploring all possibilities within the romantic universe.

It was okay, but this is one series from Caitlin Ricci that I'm not a super big fan of. I love the rest of her work, but this series doesn't do it for me.Too much sex, too little plot and this one particularly bothered me, because I'm not a fan of cheating. Cheaters rarely ever change and no amount of sex - kinky or not - is ever going to fix a relationship on the rocks.
I found the fire mage, Corrin, far too whiny and needy for my tastes and Adrian was far too quick to forgive, for having been unable to eat or sleep for days. I'm also a little frustrated by the way Belan is brought into it, at the end, yet there's no explanation of what happened with him after the mistaken kiss. Did he find his mate or not? Is that another book?
Not a series I'll be continuing with, but a decent enough addition to the already themed series.
