Elaine White's Life in Books

The Author

Elaine White is the author of multi-genre MM romance, celebrating 'love is love' and offering diversity in both genre and character within her stories.

Growing up in a small town and fighting cancer in her early teens taught her that life is short and dreams should be pursued. She lives vicariously through her independent, and often hellion characters, exploring all possibilities within the romantic universe.

The Winner of two Watty Awards – Collector's Dream (An Unpredictable Life) and Hidden Gem (Faithfully) – and an Honourable Mention in 2016's Rainbow Awards (A Royal Craving) Elaine is a self-professed geek, reading addict, and a romantic at heart.

The Reviewer

I’m an author and reader, who just can’t get away from books. I discovered the MM genre a few years ago and became addicted.

Reality No-Show (ReMade Book 6)

Reality No-Show (ReMade Book 6) - Kiersten White, E. C. Myers, Andrea Phillips, Carrie Harris, Gwenda Bond, Matthew Cody This one was interesting, but a little disorientating. I couldn't decide if it was supposed to feel like a complete deviation from the rest of the series or not, until the very end, when it all came together.

However, because of that, there really was a disconnect. We've never even had a hint of Teddy before and he was a little whack-a-doodle even without the schizophrenia, thinking so much of himself, lying to himself and the world, as well as being generally an alcoholic teenager with some serious issues.

I'm also left with even more questions. Why is this the first time that the caretakers have taken any interest in the teenagers previous lives and tried to make them re-enact them? Are there two sets of caretakers - the crazy, murdering psychopaths and the caretakers trying to understanding humans and bring back the good-ole-days? I don't know. But, now that we're filling murdered, lost characters with new ones, I'm intrigued to see where it's going to lead.
